Bulb Log 44 - 31/10/07

Ian,

Great log as always.  Major bummer about those Crocus mathewii.  Last years picture was a stunner (what gorgeous flowers!!).  I'm concerned here about how hot our spring has been and whether it will minimise flowerings of Crocus for next season (like last years warm spring did to this year's flowers).  On your advice I've kept the water up to them better this year, so it will be interesting to see how they do.  I've also tried to keep them a little cooler by moving them to a slightly more shaded area.  Hopefully by next year they'll be well entrenched in their own garden that I am intending to build soon.

Love that last unplanted Lily.  What a cutie!!  8)
