New Lilium variety

(1/1)

Gerard Oud:
During the winter i work for a company called "De Jong Lelies". They do grow liliums, wholesale all over the world and breeding. From this last part there was some nice news, we found a very good looking and stabile form of a double aziatic lilium.
Tell me what you think of it !
regards,
gerard

Looks OK to me

annew:
Not bad for a double, it still has a stigma at least. It's nice the way the petaloid stamens stand up in the middle with the true petals reflexed.

Maggi Young:
I have often said before that I prefer single flowers to doubles  (though I am getting converted when it comes to double hepaticas!) but I must say that this is a striking flower form. As Anne says," it still has a stigma at least. It's nice the way the petaloid stamens stand up in the middle with the true petals reflexed."
It has good foliage, too.
The colour is striking and I would think that this flower has a great future, especially in the cut-flower market.

Lesley Cox:
Mmmmmm....., not TOO bad, all things considered.
