Bulb log 26 November
« on: November 26, 2008, 09:58:10 PM »
Some stunning photos - I especially like the crocus snout and arisaema in the snow. Narcissus 'Joan Stead' looks interesting - what is its parentage? Please show it fully expanded later.

Anne, snow does make for some nice pictures with bright colours jumping out in contrast to the white crystaline snow.

I can only make guesses at the parentage of N. 'Joan Stead' but I would guess it is a hybrid within the N. romieuxii types.

I will show more pictures as the other flowers open.
