Sowing Meconopsis (Lingholm - fertile group)

(1/1)

Cgull49:
I received some Meconopsis (Lingholm - fertile group) from the seed exchange this year and sowed them as soon as they arrived.  I've now got a couple of seeds that have germinated in the dark and I've moved them into the light for them to grow on.  Should I be picking out the seedlings and transplanting them to a new pot and put the seeds that haven't germinated back in the dark or should I just leave them altogther in the same pot in the light?

Hkind:
Rob,

'Lingholm' geminates without difficulties in light. I wouldn't transplant them until most seed have germinated. Just avoid temperatures above 15 degr C.

Good luck!
Hannelotte

Hannolette,

Thanks  for the advice.  I was away most of the week so I'll have to check them this evening when I get home.
