I wonder if this was grown from seed which Marcus sold? I know he did have things other than bulbs sometimes!

Here are a few variations of Allium flavum ssp tauricum - grown from NARGS Seedex seed many years ago.
The seeds were donated by Louise Parsons (I think) grown from seed from Mark McDonough who had specialised in this allium. I don't have the huge range of colours that he had but there is a bit of variation,

Yes, Marcus listed it as Scabiosa hymettia in late 2012 ('Mt. Parnis, Attikis, Greece; 700m').
One of my plants produced entirely green flowers over at least 5 years but unfortunately I can't find any photos.
