Crocus danfordiae seeds

(1/2) > >>

mark smyth:
today while clearing debris I found a seed pod of Crocus danfordiae. A couple of seeds have germinated. The questions to the experts are
1. leave them where they are? or
2. pot 'em up?

Ian Y:
Mark I would sow them carefully into a pot, at least half way down, to get best results.

mark smyth:
It's done. Two seed pods, a second below ground, and 26 seeds of which 6 had a single long root. Non damaged. A three year wait a suppose?

Maggi Young:
Three year wait if all goes well.. it's not as if you had nothing else to do in the meantime, though, is it?

mark smyth:
"it's not as if you had nothing else to do in the meantime, though, is it?"

Well I could out of gardening/plant collecting. Maybe I should travel less and save my money.
