Not long back from hiking across  swathes of  cold damp England (!!!!) the Pottertons are  getting geared up for  more of the same - " Our Christmas holiday walking footpath has been sorted today, The Grantham Canal from Nottingham to Grantham. And plans made for me (Rob) to attempt to walk The Cotswold Way in late January IF the weather is reasonable."     

Thankfully Jackie and Rob they have also  given some  thought to  next year's  plant events!

Pottertons Alpine Nusery

Rob and Jackie Potterton run Pottertons Alpine Nursery based in Lincolnshire. They are specialist growers of Alpines, Dwarf Bulbs and Woodland plants offering an extensive range of over 1500 varieties. Their stall at the plant fairs is always full of dazzling colour from the little alpine gems. The nursery holds many Chelsea gold medals and has won the RHS Farrer Trophy (best alpine display) on several occasions.
