log 4 will be posted rather later than expected.... Fred Admin is away and so we will have to be patient.... I have had a sneak preview... believe me, it will be well worth the wait... some super pix coming soon!!
-
Log 4 now on. Sorry for the delay – I was up in the north west highlands fishing. (that's a euphemism for being battered by wind and rain)
-
Hmm, so no invite for a trout for supper, then?
-
I was thinking Salmon or Dologhan
-
No idea what a Dologhan might be... the "trout" was me!

Some cracking displays there Paul, you must be very satisified with a job well done. I think it will be next Spring before I get to Wisley again and I am looking forward to it already.
It's nice to see that you can continue to display plants in all their glory and without the need for intrusive security precautions, long may it continue.

Wow! Very nice!!!!! Those Cyclamen mirabile forms are just glorious, particularly the 'Tilebarn Anne'. Oh to have forms like that!!!!! They certainly do give some wonderful colour, even without flowers!! :o
The new house looks just fantastic. Wish I were closer and could come for a visit, but I've wanted to visit so many places in the UK for so many years..... maybe one decade!! ;D

Got an exciting package in the mail today, from the Pacific Bulb Society seed exchange....... Cyclamen mirabile 'Tilebarn Anne' and 'Tilebarn Nicholas' that were donated by one of our members here on this forum. Absolutely chuffed (or should that be choughed?) to be successful in getting them from the seedex as there are so many orders at times and you never know whether you're going to be sucessful or not. So cool to go through this alpine log again and see the wonderful leaves which some of the seedlings may have, or if not them then their progeny etc. Very, very cool!! Thanks for the Wisley team for putting such useful pics up for me!! ;D
Seeds are already soaking overnight, and will be sown tomorrow. Only got them an hour ago. Given how tardy I can be with seeds at times it shows how excited I am about them. 8)
Thanks to the donor.... you know who you are!!
