Title: Log 17 (16 September 2020)
Post by: David Nicholson on September 19, 2010, 08:52:30 PM
Lovely set of pictures again Paul, I loved the Brunsvigia pulchra.

You really must tell us more about how you have stopped Sunny from digging in your sand beds.

Looking at the photo of Sunny sleeping - again- in this thread:
http://www.srgc.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=6028.0 - I'd have to say that it doesn't apppear she has much time to dig in the beds on account of sleeping in then more!

David, didn't you see a recent Log where Paul showed us all the cactus plants ( his own, if I remember) he'd planted around Sunny's favourite digging spots?  :D

(That said.... I can't find which one it is! :-[ )

Hi David,
The real success in stopping Sunny digging was to place a layer of shade netting under the gravel. You can read about it in Log 12 of this year (25 June) at http://www.srgc.org.uk/logs/logdir/2010Jun301277908870Log_12_of_2010plus_ad.pdf

Cheers

Paul
