I'm just back from a trip to Canada, and saw just a few fairly common wild flowers alongside the roads in Ontario, north of Toronto.  Don't remember seeing them there when I lived there, I suppose they were just part of the scenery and I wasn't so interested in wild flowers then.  Here they are, sorry I cannot tell you what they are, but there were scads of them all along the highways and biways.
