Many thanks Stan for such wonderful pictures as always. We almost felt as if we were there. We were reminiscing that it's a few years since we shared the points trophy with you at Glasgow. One of our crowning achievements. Shelagh and Brian.

Congratulations Stan - both on your excellent photos to bring us the show, but also for your super results for your own plants in the show.  Some realy great plants there - even if the benches seem less filled than previously. Well done to all the winners as well as everyone else who bothered to enter.

Here is a shot of Tristagma nivale from the RBGE display - photos by SRGC President Colin Crsobie.

That Tristagma must be one of the ugliest plants I've seen.

Jeff,

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder; but it will be difficult to find a beholder who thinks THAT PLANT is beautiful. Ineresting and unusual it certainly is; but beautiful it is not.

Thank you Ashley for proving me wrong. It keeps me from giving too much weight to my own opinions! It is an easy trap to fall into and I'm better off avoiding it. :D
