Pterostylis curta variegata
« on: February 01, 2018, 03:28:17 PM »
hello friends,
just after some time I am back in the forum :)

In the past I was not so successful with my Pterostylis,
but when I used a "new" potting mix,
I have fairly better results this winter.

so I would like to post my real GEM: Pterostylis curta variegata.

and they did well, even they did not multiply so far.

Hi Dieter

Your Pterostylis looks better than mine, what is the composition of your "new" potting mix?

hello Anders ,
nice to have a reply from you.

this is the "mixture" from a "cactus shop" here in Germany,
and maybe it is especialla the Zeolith, which help to prevent the tubers from rotting.

Körnung 0,5-2 mm, spezieller Mix aus Lava, Bims, Zeolith und Schwarzsand. Hervorragend geeignet als Topferde für sehr kleine Töpfe, zur Bewurzelung von Stecklingen und zur Aussaat.

hope you can find an equivalent, good luck.

lMK.

cheers
dieter
