Maggi Young:
The Farrer Medal for best plant in Show at the 25th Anniversary Show in Hexham has been won by Rannveig and Bob Wallis.  It is  Empodium elongatum  and the photo is from Peter Maquire.



Super plant- another Farrer for Rannveig and Bob Wallis - master growers!

Stan da Prato:
Another  view of the Farrer plant followed by the same couple's Cyclamen  africanum  in the same three pan classs which  won the Ewesley salver. They took the AGS medal for their small six pan entry and a merit cert for Biarum marmarisense



Stan da Prato:
Alan Furness won the Crocus award with C boryi, the Patricia  Furness vase for Raoulia eximea and  the Millenium trophy for best foliage plant with a Celmisia  hybrid.Ian Instone  took the David Boyd award for best pan of Amaryllidaceae.



Stan da Prato:
David Millward received a merit cert for Cheilanthes eatonii, I received one for Microcachrys tetragona. In section 2 Vivien Self won the Newcastle Bowl and Inner  Eye trophy and an  SRGC bronze medal.
