At Perth Show today - Forrest Medal for Best in Show and also trophy for best entry from a Tayside resident is won by -who else - Cyril Lafong with this lovely pot of Cypriperdium 'Ursel' ( C. fasciolatum x C. henryi)

Cyril also won the Dundas quaich for class 2 three pans different genera, the Henry & Margaret Taylor award for a new or rare plant with a seedling from Primula Delight. He won the Joyce Halley award for a seed raised plant with Hymenoxys lapidicola- poor photo. David Millward won the Cox rhodo trophy wth a fine Dora Amateis.

Margaret Taylor received a merit certificate for Tasmania lanceolata, Barry & Cathy Cauldwell one for Erythronium helenae, while Ian Christie received a certificate for Trillium albidum. Alan Weepers won the Perth trophy for most points in show by a local member

In section 2 Struan Harley took the John Duff award for the best plant with a Trillium while Trevor Wenham won the new exhibitor award.

Thanks again Stan for another comprehensive overview of the show.
I think you must already be powered by 400volts to deliver and present all your plants and then to take and share all your pictures from the shows.
Your dedication is very much appreciated by those of us unable to attend.
