Oak Leaf Primulas
« on: February 24, 2007, 06:03:11 PM »
In some local garden centres this week I saw and bought two new Primulas - Oak Leaf Red and Oak Leaf yellow. Interesting to me but maybe destined to be composted by others

Compost for me Mark, but whatever takes your fancy. Wouldn't it be boring if we all liked the same things?

Extraordinary looking things, never seen 'em before. Found this page, though, so this is where they seem to come from:  http://www.newprimula.co.uk/7.html

They are calling them Glamis and Balmoral. The label on the ones I saw just say Oakleaf red and yellow. Joe Sharman at Monksilver has known these for some time. They also come true from seed
