Can any of our knowledgeable forumites provide me with a compost formula for growing gentians and cassiopes in troughs ???

JI ericaceous from the local garden centre plus added grit and sand and some perlite does OK for me.

And for gentians, it depends on which species you're growing. Certain of them like nearly the opposite soils (pH-wise).
