Just like last year my daffs are wilting due to the lack of rain

Can't think this would possibly be any kind of record breaking day here, Mark.
Been out this afternoon with the dogs and my pal with her dog... quite nice but haar never very far away even before 2pm... getting pretty chilly by the time we got back at the back of three. We both had coats on!

I am in Jerez southern Spain and it is raining and so windy it is difficult to stand up. Still it is 8c so I am not suffering heat exhaustion.

Needless to say no flowers but excellent sherry!

As my son has 2 canoe races on the Douro tomorrow (5 km - K2 and K4 - ie 2 and 4 in a kayak), it is of course due to rain  :( :( Hope it's not too bad - a lot of rain can fall into an open kayak over 5 km! Max. temperature 21ºC - so that's not too bad!
