I think if I had spent £300 on Green Tear, I would be very sad to see Grüner Frühaufsteher!
Would you shed green tears Anne? :'( The ultimate expression of being green with envy? :-\

I think I know the secret of Hagen  :-X :-X :-X

He cross his Galanthus with Cucumbers (gherkin)

This cumcumbers are famos in his area ( Spreewald ) and in carneval the people do not throw away from the waggons bonbons ,choclate and other sweet things as typical in germany ....in Cottbus they throw gherkin  :o :o :o

So my idea for a better name than "Grüner Frühaufsteher" would be "Cottbuser Essiggurke" ( "Cottbus gherkin ") ;D ;D ;D

Yes Hans, so it is.
But here we have a lot of different recipes for gherkins, so I can also create different greens too. ;) ;D

Hagen ,

Do you use a "Gurkenflieger" for pollination ( cross between Galanthus + Cucumber ) ?

I do not hope that soon the people from Spreewald start with eating snowdrops in salat !

Snowdrops with mustard or vinagre in glasses ....

GALANTKINS ? or GHERKTHUS? or SNOWCUMBER? or CUMCUMDROPS ?

this is only a warning !!!

I read that as a "pot of green tea" & thought you galanthophiles must be an abstemious lot.

Hans -  One must be very careful, here they yell at a bad driver  - Vous êtes concombre diplômé! :-X

And after all Hagen is in the driver's seat with the Virescens and the best.
