unknown Cyclamen
« on: September 15, 2007, 12:44:46 PM »
I bought this Cyclamen at the discussion weekend last year. The label is now gone. It's either hederifolium or graecum. The leaves are only just out lying flat on the compost and folded. When they expand I'll show the leaves. Any ideas? It could have come from Sandy as a gift. A year ago is a long time to remember

Hederifolium? Mainly suggested because it loks as if it might have been in flower for several days now and my graecum are not in flower yet. Very scientific, but it looks like a very nicely coloured hederifolium.

Leaves will help - C hederifolium is favourite as David says.  C graecum usually has petals with a bit of twist in them!

Hard to tell with no leaves, but it may be C. africanum, given the leven possiblities and flowers!

Mark, Sandy keeps busy with his articles for the main site and his other responsibilities for the SRGC, plus, he has a really busy life outside the Club... so his time forthe forum is limited, though he's usually pretty clued up about what's happening on here! :o

Here is my Cyclamen again. It has large and small flowers on one plant. I'm guessing hederifolium
