Quiet, Nicholson!

Mmmmm ...... love this forum, I would say a benchmark for others to aspire too. But what would it be without you Maggi?

That's a question that has been asked before , Ron..... there would surely be another me out there somewhere..... naturally we each like to think ourselves unique  ::).... but I very much doubt that is the case.

Just a question of winkling a 'me clone' out of the bushes.... :o ;D ;D

There are a lot of folks who work to make this place the friendly, useful place it is - it is a measure of how much we value the club that we will put the effort in. (Even that agitator, Nicholson!)

Did someone mention heritage apples?

 Biggest cheese, or high heid yin as we say in these parts, for heritage apples is the marvelous gardener, orchard lover and poultry fancier, Wille Duncan, in Fife. What that mand doesn't know about apples isn't worth knowing, I reckon.  He's hard to beat on just about any other subject, too. Woderful chap!

Made me hungry now.... off for an egremont russett......

PS I've dropped Ben an email with a link to this page....;

edit.... no sign of the lad around  here..... :'(

Thanks for the birthday greetings Ronm & Maggi.

A remote week in a restored cottage in Wales actually Maggi. No TV, no telephone and no internet hence the late response. Just Mandy, me and new found friend Penny (Whippet rescue). I will post pictures of her later on the pet page.

Thanks
Mick

Does everyone automatically get a Happy Birthday post on their day Maggi? Or do we do it?

Up to Forumists to see if it's the birthday of someone, Ron.
I send out e-cards to those whose birthdates are recorded in their profiles and who therefore show up on the calendar..... I don't eat a cake for all of them.... in spite of appearences to the contrary! ;)

 Today it's Jan-Piet's day... we haven't seen him for a while.
And it's Christian's birthday too..... probably having a party in his lovely garden ;)
