Looking for Waterleafs, Hydrophyllum spp.
« on: August 23, 2011, 11:04:12 AM »
I'm looking for seed of any of the Waterleafs apart from Hydrophyllum virginianum and H. canadense which I already have. I've also had H. appendiculatum but that behaves as a biennial in my garden. Here are 3 pictures of the early spring leaves, late spring leaves and flowers...

Far too late in my neck of the woods for them, but I can get H. macrophyllum and eventually the variety atratum of virginianum. They are beautiful, but weeds when they get going. Speaking of seed I have some Dentaria somewhere in the refrigerator....
