Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-Mai'

Mine seems to have green stems and red calyces.  The flowers have only just started, seems to be the bottom of the plant first.
And look what was growing underneath it, just opened today

Might the conditions in which the plant has been kept  influence the calyx colour?   Indoors/under cover  bleaching out the red?

It might Maggi but I've seen lots at garden centres, indoor and out, with green calyxes and stems.

As promised here's a pic, not a good one I'm afraid as it was very bright here today(for a change!), showing the whole plant.

For me it is Prunus 'Koju-no-Mai'. The typical zigzag of the branches, with the red calyx.

I saw a couple of plants in a garden centre yesterday labelled as Kojo-no-Mai with green stems and calyxes and very upright growth, there is obviously some mis-labelling going on in the trade.

do you think, this is only a problem with "alpines"? When you work in a nursery, this is one of the main problems. And the correction takes time, and time, and ...
