Iris sp. ex Pamir
« on: April 21, 2011, 01:24:14 PM »
Googling for Iris info this morning I found a photo of a stunning Iris without a name and simply called Iris sp. Pamir . Unfortunately it's sold by a Canadian nursery called Wrightmans. They have many desireable plants

Does anyone in the UK know of a source?

I'm not sure if I even have the foliage right but I wonder if it could be something not too far from I. arenaria/humilis and various other little yellows from central Asia. Most would be closer to true yellow than that but one never knows. Janis? Peter? It is certainly very cute and desirable.

Thank you Rafa. That's the one whose name I couldn't remember and which I always mix up with humilis because I have had both, as the other, if you see what I mean. :)
