Plant days in Oostkamp (Belgium)
« on: August 14, 2010, 03:53:18 PM »
This year there's a plant sale in the garden of Maurice Vergote (http://www.detuinvanmaurice.be/p0-en.php and http://www.plantendagenmauricevergote.be/) for the very first time. It takes place on the 11th and 12th of September 2010.

There will be about 30 nurseries from Belgium (amongst which: "Epimedium" (http://www.epimedium.be), Cathy Portier" (http://www.alpenplanten.be/index.cfm?fuseaction=artperrub&c=1),...) and from neighbouring countries. You'll also be able to visit the magnificent garden of Maurice (no rock garden but very beautiful perennial plant borders).
At the same time the alpine plant nursery of Cathy Portier will be open for the entire weekend. It's about 10 kilometres between the two places.

Thanks for that post Wim.
What a wonderful website.
Such a feast of pictures. It really is the ultimate statement in "setting the neighbours a good example".

It is, isn't it. And that for a garden which was only started in 2005 (It was a pasture untill then) by someone with the respectable age of 68 at the time.
