Trillium rivale- I believe this plant was shown by alison Ward...Alison is the daughter ofthose late, great growers and SRGC Members  Don and Joan Stead.

Once the web team has cracked the 'smell' function on the forum, perhaps they might consider developing a 'how is this plant grown so well' button for the show threads ;) 8)

That would be a great asset, wouldn't it? I must say,  when I am at the shows, I do take particular care to check that some of these truly breath-taking plants are REAL and not ceramic or culinary inventions, such is the level of perfection we see! ;D

 Another stunning group of pictures and for the first time in 30 years i did not have a selling stand so time to take a few pictures. i have some the same as already posted but the plants were so good, cheers Ian the Christie kind

It is a gorgeous lily, isn't it, Bjørnar? I'm told it went up to Joint Rock committee and was given a Preliminary Commendation. It's being called a form of L. mackliniae.... but some have doubts!
