Olga  yours are lovely especially the very dark one.

Here is my one with the lost label today with almost all buds open. The scent is fantastic but only when up close

I love these Daphnes, I would like to have all of them!
Mark, your Daphne is named after the Austrian horticulturalist, who is  Fritz KUMMERT, not Kummet. :)

I have several daphnes - some are quite big shrubs but this one is retusa and in full flower just now. The scent is fantastic.

The buds on my retusas are only just starting to swell

I spoke to someone at Blackthorn today and he said he is retiring next year. He'll be selling at Pershore on July 7th. I might fly over to buy some Daphnes from him

Mark, is the Pershore event on July 7 an AGS show? Looks like Ivi's put my AGS show schedule booklet in the recycling. Might pop over and see you there if you do come over for some daphnes. Did Robin offer to take some to the show for you to collect?

Just checked flights and I'm very disappointed to find out they are around £100 day return.

I have admired the plants at Karan Junker's site for many years and go there regularly to sigh and wonder which plant there I wouldn't want. And now, looking at the map, I've just realised that I will be driving pretty near by - oh the temptation!!  ::) :D I know it's a ring-before-you-go nursery, which might help me resist the temptation ...
