Hi there i was just wondering if antone new where to get some hardy Schefflera seeds from, i have search the internet bjut cant find any.
in Lancashire UK.

News to me that any Schefflera ARE hardy. Thought they would all be tender in the UK

Also try Crûg Farm in Wales.  They had plenty of UK hardy Schefflera species at the RHS Show a couple of years ago.   www.crug-farm.co.uk

BTW Philip McD. is growing Schefflera spp. in Vancouver, BC.  He insists we should plant out the one he gave us... ::)

Whenever I've look at their website, Crûg Farm usually haven't have any Schefflera taiwaniana plants for sale (in my view, the best hardy species). I covet this plant hugely - it's very elegant and I think borderline hardy but there's a large one in the Exotic Garden at Great Dixter so it must be pretty tough. I've looked at Crûg Farm again while reading this thread and they're in stock - 2 sorts, anyway -  so I've ordered one. Now, where to put it ...
