An easter walk near the Neanderthal

Here are some pics made during a walk in a nature preserve - located inside and around a former limestone quarry. This area is situated a few kilometers from the famous Neanderthal, where the Neanderthaler was found.

1. a cherry twig
2. Viola reichenbachiana and Oxalis acetosella
3. V. reichenbachiana and Ranunculus ficaria
4. The spur of V. reichenbachiana
5. Viola riviniana
6. Viola riviniana reichenbachiana and Anemone nemorosa
7. Viola riviniana - spur
8. + 9. Viola riviniana
10. a surprise

For me it's always a surprise to detect an egg in the woods - especially with a suggestion to visit a restaurant + cafe!  ;)
