Loes - 'Pagoda' is a gorgeous looking plant, but unfortunately nobody seems to have it - the same is true of the similar 'Flight of Fancy' - however a newer snowdrop, whose outer petals roll back like these two, is g. nivalis 'Egret' and this should be more generally available in a few years time.

I have seen Egret growing in a garden and I agree that it is a really nice looking plant that is definately on my future wants list.

You see, Boys, where I come from, 'Egret' is a particularly nice little Rhododendron ! Quite readily available and at modest cost, too!!   Masses of little waxywhite trumpet flowers. I'll show you in the Rhodo page when it comes out!

Chris, it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it! Now that I see the scale of the problem, I think I'll begin by asking loes and Gerard to take me to Rhodos to show me what is so good about the place, and, while there, I can begin to explain, over a nice meal and some pleasant drink, about the REAL rhodos !

No, no, Loes, the Greeks only called their Island Rhodos because they were so sad they did not have any real rhododendrons to make their land more beautiful!!  ::) ;D ;D
