Androsace Lactea
« on: March 24, 2009, 07:54:35 PM »
I have some Androsace lactea germinating at the moment, more seeds from the surplus lucky dip. ;D
I'm not sure what conditions they like, and not sure if they would be hardy here.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I have been growing Androsace lactea for many years. It seems to be doing best in the gravel bed with good drainage, and self seeds freely around if I'm not there to harvest all the seeds.

Here is a pic of one of my plants from 2006

Magnar, thank you very much.
I just realized the seeds I have germinating are from your seeds, not SRGC surplus.
I will have to be more careful when writing labels.
Your picture reminds me of why I wanted the seeds, it is a really lovely plant.
