Sowing Ourisia caespitosa

Hey, is there someone who knows about Ourisia caespitosa need cold to germinate?

I really don't know whether it NEEDS cold or not but I've had success with seed sown late winter so if you sow it now it should be OK. All my seeds are left out in whatever weather happens. The real problem with the Ourisias is dryness when the seedlings are growing a little larger. They can be lost very quickly. Keep them damp at all times. A gritty, humusy mix seems to suit well.

Thank you Lesley for your reply. I think I keep the seed pot on inside for a week, there after I put it on outside. It was good to know that Ourisia is sensitive to drought.
