In this pic, Rob,  of the hamamelis, I am intrigued by the wonderful criss-cross fencing in the left background.... can you tell us anything about that, please?

Rob - Thanks for the great shots from Ivycroft.  It's always good to see the face of a nursery and the owner.  Wa that your order in the  rugged plastic flats? ???  ;D

And particularly pleased to see no sign of snow!

The criss-cross fencing was maybe willow. It was really neatly done & went for several metres, see additional pics.

I only treated myself to half a dozen snowdrops:
