Just stunning!
In Israel, Iris atropurpurea is the first one to flower from all Oncos, in February.

Thanks for sharing,

Really beautiful flowers.
I wish we had some sunnier and better weather in Belgium just so I could keep some Oncos outside

Well David I am just about resigned to going over on my internet allowance this month - especially when a 3MB file comes in when not requested. I will add some larger photos but they do have to stay to a certain size each and this can be a bit of fiddling unless anyone knows a quite way. Each original is about 1.2MB before I take them down 40%.
I do thank my lucky stars to be able to grow these beauties.

I cannot understand your comment on size.I click on them and they fill the screen.Maybe it is not working for you.The maximum file size is 350kb and Pats are not far of that.

Tony, I agree with you... Pat's phots are, I would say, a perfect size for viewing! And very beautiful they are, too!!

They are just wonderful to see ,I feel envy and just wish I could grow them, but I expect that would cut out many things I can now grow

Pat,

Each and every one of them is a stunner!!  Particular favourites are of the last two from your first posting, and the second one from the second posting..... but so many others are glorious as well.  Thank you!!  I wish I lived closer so that I could see them in person. 8)
Cheers.

Pat,
your iris are splendid! I think Onco will be the next phase of my iris addiction - I just need to master Juno first!
Thanks!

Lovely plants.
Maybe I should know this but are these plants good in a mediterenian climate (Portugal)?
If so where can these plants be bought?
Or is it the case that seeds are the only way?
Thanks
