Pomaderris looks like an interesting shrub Fermi how tall is it and do you think it would survive in Bury?

Hi Shelagh,
its only 30 to 40 cm high and the same about 60cm across. Ours is growing in a sand bed so may be a bit starved!
So far I've been unsuccessful at propagating it from cuttings but it must be possible as this is a named clone
it has survived -7oC here but supply might be a bigger problem.

This double galanthus has never flowered before in our garden!
I think the wetter than usual winter has helped it along.
The label is long gone but I'm sure it's one I got from Marcus Harvey.
Could it possibly be 'Jaquenetta'?

A great spring selection Fermi 8)
I like your bulbinellas very much but struggle with them (they with me, rather) here in pots.  Maybe time to face the inevitable & concentrate on things happier under my conditions ;D

Thanks, Ashley.
I have to admit that I only have 2 types in pots - Bulbinella triquetra (which is quite small) and B. cauda-felis (still in the pot I received it in  :-[ ).
Bulbinella latifolia ssp doleritica took a few years to get to flowering size once I'd planted it out.
