Mystery Bulb

I was given this many years ago by a Czech friend. It was labelled Gagea originally.  Ideas?

I would definitely say "not a gagea"- most likely Muscari neglectum had seeded itself into your friend's pot. Or the gagea died and the muscari seeded itself into your pot,
cheers

Thanks Fermi.  We knew it wasn't Gagea but reeckoned it was a Muscari, Pseudomuscari or Bellevallia but not terribly familiar with those generas' diversity.  Thx  johnw

John, the flower is definitely a Muscari. Are the leaves all the same in the pot though? It's not totally clear from the photo but maybe some of the non flowering plants are not Muscari?

Tristan - A mix of Crocus, Leucojum, Galanthus and Narciss in that frame.  Indeed Muscari. johnw
