Finishing tonight – our LAST narcissus listings for this year, and the final opportunity to obtain the snowdrops listed.
Our daffodils include three varieties NEW this year:
Brian Duncan’s bright and breezy WINNING TRY, brings that rare orange colouring into the world of miniatures.
Dryad’s own GRACIE, charms with its gentle colour changing corona, which opens clear lemon and matures to white with a lemon base and rim.
PUPINA has engaging little short-cupped, scented flowers in white and lemon, the slightly longer stems making it perfect for cutting, but also making a wonderful display in pots or containers.
These three newcomers are accompanied by two of Brian’s classic cyclamineus winners:
WEE NOD is aptly named with its demurely nodding, swept-back flowers and cool colour scheme. This lovely cultivar is a favourite addition to Brian’s prize-winning showbench collections.
Finally – the multi-award winning SLEEK, which always causes a sensation when exhibited, with its snappy, slicked-back perianth and perky, flared and fringed corona. A sure winner on the showbench, it is always in high demand, and short supply.
Our snowdrops tonight are the final offering of these varieties – no less than four of our prized DRYAD GOLD GROUP, two from our MYTHS AND LEGENDS series, and an eyecatching little German contribution.
DRYAD JUPITER brings its sturdy constitution and substantial flowers to the party, the outer segments flicked up at the edges, and the longitudinal corrugations forming its distinctive ‘crown’.
DRYAD ECHO’s pale ‘echo’ spot above the dark green sinus arc makes it one of the most easily identified varieties. It makes large bulbs which increase well.
DRYAD GOLD BULLION is one of our most popular varieties, not least because of its fast increase and free flowering, neat habit.
DRYAD GOLD CHARM’s remarkably long, elegant buds are a great favourite here, and its large bulbs increase well.
DRYAD GOLD NUGGET, like its sister BULLION, has small, compact bulbs which quickly bulk up and cute little rounded flowers with the contrasting yellow ovary and sharp, acid-green inner mark.
DRYAD GOLD STANDARD, one of our latest additions to the group, has large, refined flowers, whose outer segments incurve gently to produce a quilling effect as the flower matures.
The last snowdrop in this, our penultimate session for 2021, is Hagen Engelmann’s DAS GELBE VOM EI – an improved ‘Blonde Inge’ type with good contrast between to deep yellow mark and green ovary.
As usual, you can find them all here:

Please remember, we can only post snowdrops to England, Scotland or Wales. Daffodils can also be sent to the USA (with phytosanitary charges)

GOOD LUCK!

In our season finale tonight, four of our very special Dryad snowdrops:

Our two MYTHS and LEGENDS:
DRYAD DEMETER’s amazing, solid emerald green blaze on the outer segments never fails to catch the eye, supported by its neat, short upright foliage.
DRYAD VENUS’ voluptuous flowers and heart-shaped markings suggested its name, after the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Not only is it scented, but it carries yellow genes having Wendy's Gold and Corrin as parents, so will be invaluable in breeding yellow poculiforms. It has already produced some beautiful seedlings when pollinated by our Dryad Gold group snowdrops as pollen parents.

From the acclaimed DRYAD GOLD group, customer favourite DRYAD GOLD INGOT boasts one of the neatest habits of the group, and is distinguished by its olive-green inner mark, bleeding yellow towards the base.
Using Dryad Gold Ingot for pollinating Dryad Venus will not give the best yellow inverse poculiform seedlings though, for that you need one of our all yellow varieties such as our last offering for tonight - DRYAD GOLD MEDAL. With its shapely, mid-season flowers and golden ovary and inner mark, it is the ideal partner to provide pollen for DRYAD VENUS, in your search for that coveted yellow ipoc seedling.

For the last time this year, you can find them here:

Finishing tonight – our last EBAY offerings for this year, and your final chance to add these great varieties to your collection:

DRYAD VENUS’s curvy shape and hidden gold genes give her a dual advantage - not only wonderful to look at, but an opportunity to breed something unique and exciting. Pollinate her with our Dryad Golds or another yellow to hope for yellow inverse poculiforms.

The unmistakable opaque green of DRYAD DEMETER’s outer marking will make this amazing snowdrop the highlight of your spring garden. Its rapid increase means you will soon have an eyecatching clump.

DRYAD GOLD MEDAL is the perfect partner to provide pollen for Dryad Venus, but an excellent plant in its own right, with rounded flowers and the yellow ovary and inner mark to catch the late winter sun.

Finally, DRYAD GOLD INGOT’s compact habit and deep green inner mark contrasting with the yellow ovary of its cup-shaped flowers has made this a customer favourite.
All these are double-nosed clumps-in-waiting!

Thank you to all our customers for bidding.  We hope you had fun and enjoyed the chase! We will be back next year with our ‘in the green’ snowdrops.
