HA!  ;D They look so cute!. If I planted them 10cm deep, maybe mine would look as nice....no, maybe not.

I would be lucky I'm living at 35 degrees noth latitude, almost same as their native area - Morocco and southern Spain ;)

Narcissus cantabricus ‘Clusii’ x N. cantabricus var. petunioides
I have to divide these seedlings into single bulbs and select flat coronas from parabolic ones next season. Fortunately they are far more vigorous than their pollen parent “petunioides”.
I donated the seeds collected from same parents to the SRGC Seed Exchange 2013. Hoping someone have already got flat corona seedlings ;)

That's nice and early, Yann. My obesus are always much later.

I am a big fan of obesus, it's a beautiful little thing. Grew some from SRGC seed 3 or 4 years ago, it is the only bulbocodium type I have found that seems to reliably grow and flower for me outdoors here in North Wales. Ordered a bunch more seed this year, I am hoping to get a colony going.

Narcissus obesus is out again here in Central Portugal after a VERY mild and rainy winter.
Each year they come earlier. Very pretty in the rain, which they don't mind at all.

Great to see them in the wild!
This is a nice lemon reverse bicolour unnamed seedling getting to know me again after 3 years growing on from chipping.
