Hoop petticoat season has just arrived here at my house :)
A newly flowering seedling, bred by me, looks like a flat disk rather than a hoop petticoat, though ::)

A potful Narcissus ‘Craigton Chorister’ is almost in full bloom now (pic.1 & 2).

And a descendant of N. ‘Craigton Chorister’ opens its first flowers same time (pic.3 & 4).
Narcissus (N. bulbocodium var. tenuifolius x N. romieuxii subsp. albidus var. zaianicus) x N. ‘Craigton Chorister’

Comparison of N. ‘Craigton Chorister’ (in the left) and the descendant (in the middle and right) (pic.5).

Maggi and Ian,
Thank you for sharing the "world famous" Craigton Road Series Daffodils for us.
‘Craigton Chorister’ usually opens its flowers in mid December at here.
Looks 2 weeks later than the usual flowering time this year.

Luc,
Thank you! Your narcissus posted this forum are all beautiful, too ;)

Luc, it seems you cultivate these excellent flowering clumps outside.  :o

Thx Gerd !
They are out in the garden all right, in a slightly raised crevice bed, since they've been there, they have survived  -7 to -8° C, I have another N. romieuxii in the garden that has been there for over 10 years and has survived -12°C.
