Forumists may remember Paul R from Victoria who had some great pics of daffs of his own breeding. He was selling up and leaving Australia to travel the world earlier in the year. I got a couple of pots of his Narcissus hybrids and the first to flower are labelled (Quickstep x Fern) x Virid, which I take to mean ('Quickstep' x Narcissus fernandesii) x N. viridiflorus.
The "first seedling" - Narcissus (Quickstep x N.fernandesii) x N.viridiflorus #1 has faded from 7GG to 7WW!
cheers

Fermi your narcissus are superb.  The viridiflora cross is enchanting.

Hi Jacqui,
all credit for the Narcissus viridiflorus hybrids go to Paul Rumkorf of course.
Here are a few more daffs from our garden.
1) Narcissus 'Split' 11aW-W, Gerritsen, Holland
2) Narcissus "John Gilpin" - a jonquil we got ages ago from Col Drewitt who called it after the person from whom he got it! It may actually be the old hybrid 'Sweetness'
3) Narcissus KB-BH-F1-19, a recent hoop from Keira Bulbs
4) Narcissus 'Dovekie'
5) Narcissus "Doug Bryce's Newstead"
cheers
