They have a national  collection of certain  succulents as well as catering  for children. The Victorian corridor where the show is held will soon be full of seasonal  tender plants in flower.

Nice to see the pictures of the show and thanks for coming with taking all your plants. Hope they are all home safely. I just took my three plants out the car. I didn’t have anything for the show bench this year, not good. We were pleased that others from further afield made it. The plants were well down which was sad to see so thanks to those that did come.
It’s always nice to catch up with other club members and have a chat over a coffee and cake.
Also thanks to the nurseries for taking their wonderful plants, pity I didn’t take more money with me .

Thanks again to everyone.

…...and thanks  to you and all your colleagues at Aberdeen  for a most enjoyable day despite  the weather outside . I shall  sign  off  with a rare  action shot of myself then  the scene  as the Victorian corridor was emptied  and returned  to the Aberdeen city gardeners.

Hi Angie,
I think that's the problem - which to have first! He's not unhappy, just trying to make up his mind ;D
cheers

Fermi I think you are right. . Stan has such a good sense of humour but a serious looking face that’s why I put a happy Stan on his cup. Maybe he was thinking of having to pack all his wonderful plants back in his car, that’s a big job.

Wonderful, Sandy.  MacPuddock has entertained generations of children, my own included xx years ago!  It made me very nostalgic for the 41 happy years spent living in Aberdeen.  Unfortunately, I spent the 18 May on an eight hour train journey returning from a holiday. Maureen
