I spotted  Don Peace  in one of the earlier  photos - good to see him back at a  Scottish Show - not only that, but look -  in Don's  photo of  the Forrest medal winning plant  and  David Millward - he's  managed to get  a huge smile  from the winner!!

Beaten into second place by the pot deemed best-in-show, I was still very taken with this small daffodil shown by Ian Christie.



Unfortunately I could not find the label, if it had one, so could not identify it.  It's not far removed from the wild daffodil but it seemed a bit more petite and the outer (i.e.non-trumpet) petals a bit more yellow.  Can somebody tell me what it is, please.

I had time to take a walk up the river and came across this community garden, which was part-funded by the SRGC according to the notice.
