Lesley the conifers in the rockery are still in their original pots to keep them small. The two conifers that I lifted had remained root bound except to one root each. One had come over the pot and rooted and the other had a root that had gone out the bottom of the pot

I just phoned Jim McGregor to find out how many firsts I have accumulated. I had the feeling I must have been at bronze medal stage by now.

You are the first to know that I gained my bronze status at the Dublin show.  ;D
