Well that's the first of the bookings coming in and we have SOLD OUT of all the single rooms in the first post  :o so there are no single rooms left at the Atholl Palace
But we have a plan there are a number of other accommodation providers we can sort for you BUT if you are hoping to get a single room please contact me soon  :)
Pitlochry will be very busy in October due to the Enchanted Forest light show which attracts over 60,000 people over about 5 weeks and the accommodation price s go up!!

The show entries are coming in! If you're coming to the Discussion Weekend and wondering whether that plant will be ready or not, bring it along anyway! It's always a joy to see the different range of plants that are performing at this end of the season. Show entries can be sent to me at perth.show@fireflyuk.net and late entries will be accepted. you can find the show schedule at: http://files.srgc.net/show_info/2018SRGCdwe.pdf Staging 4-5.30pm on Friday and 8-9am on Saturday. Look forward to seeing you all and your plants in Pitlochry!

Some Gentians  on floor of the greenhouse  to keep rain  from marking the flowers -normally they live outside as do most of my plants.

Meanwhile, at the AGS Show in Harlow Carr- Alan Furness has won the Farrer Medal Best in Show there with the  lovely autumn crocus, Crocus banaticus  'Snowdrift'  - photo from Twitter by  Vivien Self -

 Well done, Alan!

edit to clarify - Crocus was awarded Best in Show  but not Farrer Medal.
