Just to advise that BBC 2 2100hrs on 26 January the UK gardening presenter Monty Don will be showcasing the Istanbul Tulip Festival 2017 in a 1 hour programme on the great gardens of India, Turkey and the UK.
Yemen, what a country ... Haraz mountains, Socotra, Sana'a, Hadramaut, the empty quarter.... a country of stunning, mind altering beauty...and the friendliest of people.

Just got a pair of pictures from China where my customer has Tulipa regelii, bought from me last year, now already blooming. He was so excited, that this year bought almost all stock. By the way - my new offer-2018 is now open, much earlier than I suspected.

Early flowering for that lovely Tulipa regelii - it is certainly  one of the most beautiful.

I've 2 pots of regelii and i'm thinking no one will flower this year. Is it the lack of sun we had? I'm not the only grower in this case.

Arda, I think that Turkey is a good country to look for wild tulips and photograph in the wild?
