Codonopsis seedlings
« on: November 10, 2017, 09:20:35 AM »
Hello all,

I got some seeds of Codonopsis grey-wilsonii in September, and sowed them straight away, assuming they would need a cold period to germinate. Apparently they don't, they are already germinating. (I know, I should do my research before I sow something.....)
Should I take them indoors over winter, or will they survive the winter in a cold frame?

Thanks in advance,
Marco

Hi Marco,
The seedlings will not survive frost. Keep them frost-free, barely moist and in the brightest light possible but with good ventilation.
Best of luck.

Thanks Steve, I'll follow your advise, and hopefully they will survive!

Thanks again,
