Erythronium americanum seeds- tiny tubers
« on: July 09, 2017, 12:00:28 AM »
I don't know exactly where to put this and I think is interesting - anyway, it made me go into the house to take the camera and spend time to make the plate!
By accident last year I sowed E. americanum and  Asarum canadense in the same pot  ??? I only realized when Asarum started to germinate (Eryhronium was quite advanced).
All being in a small pot I decided was necessary to remove some of the Asarum seedlings - to make it short - the similitude between the tiny tubers and the seeds, shape, size is fascinating !!!! A week ago probably even the colour would have been the same.
