Hallo Edgar, thank You for the Nettetal Video, I have seen this and it is sorry, that this was the last time snowdropday in Nettetal!

Yeah a big shame, I liked it there this last weekend, and it's just across the border from the Netherlands too.

We'll see next year what Dormagen is like. :)

I know! I'm considering going there, but it is a four hour drive.. Tough choice, haha. Would be interesting to see the new varieties.

Greetings from the east of the Netherlands :)

"Day of the Open Garden" in the church-garden Saxdorf on 10.3.2018. This church-garden is like a Botanic - Garden and starts with thousands of Galanthus, Eranthis and Crocus tomasianus. In the afternoon we heard a Klavier-concert and a informative powerpoint presentation about snowdrops by Hagen Engelmann.

Thank You, Maggi, this was a wonderful and informative "Open Gardenday" in Saxdorf. We visited the garden with thousands of Snowdrops, Crocus and Eranthis, had a good coffee and cake and heard the newest informations about the classification of snowdrops and the new varieties of Hagen Engelmann! Between the powerpoints we heard a fine Klavierconcert! A fine Sunday afternoon and sun rised the temperatures high till 18 °C!

Hallo Maggi, the +18 °C we had only saturday and sunday afternoon, now the temperatures normalisized and next weekends "the beast of the East" brings back the winter with snow and till -9 °C!
The classic Klavierkoncert in the Saxdorf garden was created from the pianist Stephan Hilsberg, a former member of the Bundestag Berlin. He loves the garden Saxdorf too! Greetings Harald Alex

It seems your event  received  lots of good publicity, as well as being  a pleasure for those attending.  Well done on  achieving that, also.

We expect more bad weather here  too- in fact we already have  very cold windy weather here in North East Scotland. Feels  like winter!

In previous years  galanthophiles have become  excited at the prospect of the Annual Mid Anglia AGS Bulb Sale This year the  will take place on Sunday August 19th 2018 from 2pm at  Pentlow Mill, Cavendish, Suffolk CO10 7SP

This is again a fine  location-the garden of Jenny and Andrew Clarke'

There will be 2 guest nurseries:Hartside Nurseries- Neil and Sue Huntley and “the Belgians” - Ruben Billiet, Eddy Tijtgat and Wim Boens.

I believe friends and family of AGS members are welcome.
There is plenty of parking and free refreshments.
