Hi Hans,
I would presume from the radial nature of the flowerhead that it is a hybrid after all but a very fine one! You should still try for seeds ;D

Ooh! I'd be a little careful with the 'radial nature' of the inflorescence Fermi, as here is a pic of one growing in the wild with a distinctly radial inflorescence. Whatever the nature of the beast, it is a beautiful plant indeed.   8)
