a few more.

Last to pictures, the plants that some authors call N. albicans, and they are in fact fertile N. bulbocodium subsp. bulbocodiu x N. cantabricus, descrived as N. x neocarpetanus nothosubsp. romanesis.

Thank you for all these beautiful pictures. Sad to see the devastated cantabricus. I have the same problem in my patch of undergrowth with Narcissus pseudonarcissus. People for the devastating collect flowers and piétinnent all. I placed a defensive fence. The problem is lessened but some people pass more.

Rafa,

I enjoyed all of the Narcissus photographs. I especially enjoyed the background scenes of "N. cantabricus where happy and safe" and beyond. Your countryside looks very similar to ours here in Northern California, U.S.A. Actually in one photograph the background scene looks exactly like a scene close to our farm in the Sierra Nevada foothills.

Sadly we too suffer much needless habitat loss. I keep hoping for more awareness. Too often the destruction is completely unnecessary.

Anyway, we can always hope for the best. Thank you for sharing the photographs.

Just wonderful to see these plants and colonies in the wild, notwithstanding the pressure some of them are under.

Wonderful pictures from everyone, especially the N. cantabricus. I love that snowy whiteness, not yet seen in my bulbs. I'm almost looking forward to winter for "if winter comes, can spring be far behind?" :)
