I strongly suspect that the RHS will be looking for named cultivars rather than species like elwesii, gracilis and reginae-olgae.  So please nominate your favourite cultivar or cultivars to represent the species.  For example, you might nominate "Highdown" to represent gracilis.

I have followed Josh's suggestion and posted about this to a Facebook group on snowdrops to which I belong.

Almost in Scotland.

Hi Alan I have only really got into the cultivars this year, I did however buy Reginae Olgae Tile Barn Jamie from blacksmiths in 2014 and it's doing well here.

Nothing earth-shattering from here but these are the real doers, aside from the first all with many years under their belts.

'Benton Magnet'
'Brenda Troyle
elwesii 'Maidwell L'
nivalis 'Lady Elphinstone'
nivalis ssp. Imperati
'Peg Sharples'
plicatus 'Upcher'
'Tubby Merlin'

I hesitate to add 'Augustus' due perhaps to irrational virus concerns.

I have only five years of experience of growing snowdrop cultivars in the garden (I've has species longer), but the ones which have been most vigorous (from the limited selection I have) here are:
'S.Arnott'
'Lady Beatrix Stanley'
'Viridapice'
'Ray Cobb' (best of the yellows I have so far)
Leena from south of Finland
